

Bird Creek Meadows

Located at the base of Mount Adams. This meadow is under the jurisdiction of
the Yakima Indian Nation. This area is particularly beautiful with a stream
running through the meadow and snow-capped mountains in the background. This
meadow is 10 miles from Glenwood or 14 miles from the town of Trout Lake.
The wildflowers bloom in July and August.
Channeled Scablands

Located near Othello and Moses Lake. This bizarre and austere landscape
blossoms in the spring with a multitude of wildflowers.
Heather Meadows

Located in Mount Baker National Forest. The wildflowers bloom here in July
and August.
Hurricane Ridge

Located in the Olympic National Park. This meadow blooms mid-July through
August.
Ohme Gardens

Overlooking Wenatchee, this hillside meadow sees wildflowers begin to bloom
in mid-April.
Paradise Park

Located on Mount Rainier. The wildflowers here begin to bloom in April at
the lower elevations and continue at higher elevations into September.
Teanaway River Region

Located west of Cle Elum. This area shows off lowland meadows surrounded
by forests. A paved road goes about 20 miles back into meadow country.
The wildflowers begin to bloom in April.
