Washington State has approximately 18 ski areas, most of which are in the Cascade Mountains. Most have day lodge facilities with overnight accommodations at nearby motels and condominiums. Larger areas are at Steven's Pass, Snoqualmie Pass, Crystal Mountain, Mount Baker, and White Pass located east of Seattle; at Mount Spokane and 49 Degrees North, near Spokane; and at Mission Ridge, near Wenatchee.
