Washington State Parks has revised their filming guidelines and procedures. We recommend that your initial contact regarding parks be the Washington State Film Office for help with any inquiries.

Contact the regional programs and services manager to discuss the film project and complete a permit application. Each application shall be accompanied by an application fee. The permit application fee is $100 per application if received at park headquarters seven days or more before filming date. The permit application fee is $200 per application if received less than seven days at park headquarters before filming date. A damage deposit, bond, or insurance binder must be submitted with the permit application. The permit application is reviewed by the park manager and the agency environmental section. The Region Manager has the authority to approve film permits. Other specific facility use fees may apply. Contact the appropriate Region Manager or Regional Programs and Services Manager with any questions regarding film permits.
